A South Carolina native originally from Manning, Renee Ward, RN, MSN, FNP-BC moved to Sumter in 1990 after marrying her husband. She has two daughters, ages 26 and 24. She began her nursing career in 1989 and became a Nurse Practitioner in 2000. She has felt the calling to be a nurse since the age of six, knowing it was her true passion. Over the past 35 years, Mrs. Ward has worked as a Medical-Surgical and Pediatric Registered Nurse, a Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, a part-time Hospice Nurse Practitioner, and a nursing instructor. Currently, she serves as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Endocrinology. Her passion lies in caring for people and helping them achieve their best health.
